Manhole Risers
Raises the manhole to make it flush with the street.
Risers shall consist of domestic A-36 3/4 thickness steel lower
and upper. The riser system shall be anchored to the casting
to prevent any movement from traffic loads with 1/2" #5
cone head set screws or 1/2" bolts with clips. The catch
basin adjustment shall fit within existing casting without interference
and the grate shall have bearing on all of the surface of the
lower bar to prevent rocking from occurring.
Adjustable Steel Riser Rings are available for standard sewer clean out boots. (1" - 8")
Adjustable gray casting can be furnished to raise standard adjustable valve boxes. (1" - 6")
